Developed by Infinity Ward, the game is going to be a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Ghosts that came out back in 2013. At this point we do not have specific details regarding the plot of the game, gameplay elements, or substantive changes it might feature, but we do know a few things.

For starters, the game is going to undergo a 'tremendous' visual overhaul and will look 'a lot better' than the previous Ghosts game. Riley, the fan-favorite German Shepherd, is also going to make a return as a playable character. The story of the game will be a continuation of the original game's plot.
